Kahani, who left Iran following the ban on his film “I’m His Wife’s Friend,” has started production on the new project outside the country. According to Cinemadaily, the film represents a new experience in the filmmaker’s career.
The project is being made using the “Solo Cinema” approach, with the entire film shot on a mobile phone. Parsa is the only professional actor in the cast, while the other roles are being played by newcomers. The production in Turkey marks another independent chapter in Kahani’s filmmaking career following his departure from Iran.
